Planning has been refused by Tipperary County Council for a massive mast in Thurles.
The development would have included a 21 metre high telecommunications monopole with antennas, dishes and associated equipment, including an equipment cabinet at ground level all enclosed by security fencing.
The development address was 2 Kickham Street parking lot, Kickham Street, Thurles Townparks, Thurles.
The applicant was APW UK WIP Limited t/a Icon Tower.
The council made its decision on July 15.
