Cara Darmody was announced as a new member of the County Tipperary Chamber this week
Disability rights campaigner Cara Darmody has been announced as the newest member of the County Tipperary Chamber this week.
Cara has previously made history by being the youngest person to ever sit a Junior Cert and a Leaving Cert maths examination.
On January 13, Cara again made history by proudly becoming the youngest ever member of the County Tipperary Chamber at just 14 years old.
Speaking with Cara about her achievement, she said: "I’m very grateful for Michelle Aylward and the chamber for embracing me. I'm really excited to be able to get my message out there and be able to inspire more people."
Cara has also been chosen as a keynote speaker for an event the chamber is organising in the Cashel Palace for International Women's Day in March.
