BREAKING: Tipperary gardaí issue urgent alert over 'rogue traders'

Reports of callers claiming that they are from the local authority
Gardaí have appealed to members of the public to be extra vigilant regarding rogue callers to their homes at this time, according to Tipperary North TD, Michael Lowry.
He said: "There have been reports of callers claiming that they are from the local authority and are calling with regard to carrying out repair works in the locality in the aftermath of the storm.
"Similar reports were made when there were callers to houses after the recent snow and frost.
"People are advised to not engage with such callers and to report any suspicious incidents."
