BREAKING: Tipperary Vintage Rally scheduled for Easter Sunday is postponed

It has been announced that the Tipperary Vintage Rally scheduled to take place on Sunday next, April 9th, Easter Sunday, has been postponed.
Jack Leonard, Chair of the Vintage Rally said that they had to make the decision to postpone the event due to very poor ground conditions.
As most people know, it was according to Met Eireann the wettest March on record, and this has left ground conditions too wet for the holding of the event, which would see a large number of vehicles entering the site off the Supermacs Plaza in Tipp Town.
Jack said that he very much regretted having to make the decision but he added that it was done after a number of site inspections and with the consultation of the full committee.
He apologised to all those who were bringing vehicles and to the general public but said that on the grounds of safety it would not be possible to host the event on Easter Sunday.
However he announced that a new date had been chosen for the event and that is Sunday June 18th at the Supermacs Plaza, Tipperary Town.
He went on to say that the 'Trip Thru Tipp' Honda 50 Run would take place on Easter Saturday next (April 8th) leaving the Supermacs Plaza at 2pm.
