Get into the Christmas spirit at Carrick-on-Suir's Brewery Lane Theatre this weekend

Brewery Lane Drama Group will stage an evening of Christmas entertainment at Brewery Lane Theatre this Friday and Saturday at 8pm starting with the staging of a play.

The Christmas Tree, written by Norm Foster, is a light-hearted contemporary comedy featuring Suzanne Shine and David Shee. The plot is based on the dilemma that it's Christmas Eve and there's only one tree left for sale.

The second half of the evening has enough Brewery Christmas Crackers to fill any festive stocking with music, song and stories from Paula O'Dwyer, Neill Bourke, Sandra Power, Jayne Tennyson and Walter Dunphy.

Musical director for the show is Marian Ingoldsby.

Tickets cost €15 and can be purchased online at: www.ticketsource.eu/brewery-lane-theatre or phone (086)1274736.

Refreshments will be provided during the interval.
