Clonoulty and Arravale meet in West Tipperary Junior B Hurling League final for first time

Match will be played at Páirc Ciocaim in Dundrum
The 10th Maria Marron Palmers Hill Stud West Tipperary Junior B Hurling League final is fixed for Páirc Ciocaim, Dundrum this Friday, June 13, as Clonoulty/Rossmore face Arravale Rovers with a 7.30pm throw in. Finish on the day rules will apply.
The sides will be meeting in the final for the first time. Arravale Rovers will be playing in just a second final, having last contested the decider in 2017 when they defeated Sean Treacys in Cappawhite.
Clonoulty/Rossmore will be also playing in a second final and hoping to go one better than their 2023 appearance, when they were defeated by Cappawhite.
The Sean Breen Cup will be presented to the winners. The Seán Breen Memorial Cup was presented to the West Tipperary GAA Board on July 20 2021 by John and Breda Breen and family in memory of their son Seán, who lost his life in a tragic car accident in June 2019.
It was presented in conjunction with Éire Óg Annacarty/Donohill GAA Club for the West Junior B Hurling League, a competition that Seán had been involved in and won in 2018.
The cup was presented to the Board at half-time of the 2021 Junior B League Final and it was very fitting that Éire Óg were the first recipients of it in honour of their friend and clubmate.
Captain, Cathal Coughlan accepted the cup from West Board Chairman Michael Ryan and it was a very poignant moment for the team members and mentors, the club in general and the Breen family. Seán’s memory will be preserved forever and immortalised each year when this cup is presented.
