Country stars head for Tipperary

The biggest stars of country music will gather together on Friday, November 3, to celebrate with the legendary country singer Louise Morrissey, her 35th anniversary of a hugely successful career in country music, in what’s sure to be the concert of the year.

BANSHA

This multi-award winning artist, who hails from Bansha has chosen the Talbot Hotel Clonmel as the venue for her only celebratory concert in county Tipperary.

Louise is admired and respected as one of Ireland’s greatest female singers and performers.

Throughout her career she has toured with such American country legends such at Charley Pride, Emmy-Lou Harris, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson. What treasured memories she has.

Louise’s great friend and very popular country legend Philomena Begley is sure to entertain with some of her hugely popular hits such as Blanket on the Ground, Queen of the Silver Dollar, Truck Drivin’ Woman and The Way Old Friends Do to mention but a few.

LEGENDARY DUO

The other half of the very successful legendary duo Ray Lynam will sing from his huge repertoire of hits If We’re Not Back in Love By Monday, Mona Lisa Lost her Smile, He Stopped Loving Her Today. The very popular Mayo Man Gerry Guthrie is sure to get feet tapping with his numerous successful hit songs such as Shut Up Heart, Lucky Horseshoe and Two Loving Hearts.

RISING STAR

Great country singer Marty Daniels, who hails from Clonmel, will get those hands clapping with all the classics from as Good Hearted Woman, You Win Again and Stop The World.

One of the rising stars in country music Molly O’Connell from Kilcommon has been enjoying great success since her appearance on TG4 Glor Tire with numerous hits already such as I Don't Want To Talk About It and I wish I had Someone to Love Me .

Compere for the night is Clonmel’s own adio legend, the much loved and highly respected Tony Brook. Louise is thrilled to have her wonderful friends join her for this very special occasion.
