St Joseph's College Annual Reunion of 1957 entrants!

Last week the group of former classmates once again met up in Cahir House Hotel with seven of the close friends meeting on the day.

They met for the first time as an entrance class to St Joseph's Secondary school in Cahir in 1957 and have held a reunion in Cahir every year since (except for 2020 with Covid restrictions).

It has now been eight years since the first reunion which is organised by one of the group, Frank Gregg, and it has now become a much anticipated event for them all.

Sometimes it is not possible for all of them to meet as circumstances can sometimes throw a spanner in the works, but they are in constant contact through a group email and keep each other updated as the date approaches.

Last Thursday the lifelong friends had a great afternoon chatting, laughing and reminiscing in the comfort of Cahir House Hotel which has become a home from home to them all.

It is great to meet the group every year and see the friendship that has endured through good times and bad times and can still enjoy each other’s company immensely and we wish them well in the future and hope to see them all next year.
