Entries now being accepted for the annual Bansha Show

Bansha Agricultural and Industrial Show has been an integral part of the community since its foundation in 1956.
It has developed over the years into a key event encompassing all sections of the community both young and old and embodying the concept of 'muintearas' as developed by the late Canon John Hayes, who was Parish Priest of Bansha/Kilmoyler and founder of Muintir na Tíre.
The show will take place on Wednesday August 23rd and has classes for Cattle, Horse, Pony, Sheep & Dog Showing, Affiliated Show Jumping, Home Crafts, Sheep Dog Trials, Farm Produce, Fruit, Fancy Dress, Bonny Baby and much more.
Prize schedules can be downloaded from the website at www.banshashow.ie or you can contact Natalie on 0877512165 should you wish to have one emailed or posted. Printed schedules are also available in Bansha village at the following locations; O'Connells Shop, Brendan Healy Artisan Butchers and at Bansha Filling Station.
The annual church gate collection in aid of the show will take place at Kilmoyler Church on Saturday 29th of July (evening Mass) and at Bansha Church on Sunday 30th July 2023 (morning Mass).
The annual collection is a very important funding source for the show and your generous support would be very welcome.
This year there is also an idonate page for contributions and you can access this on the show website by searching for the idonate link.
The committee would like to thank everyone in advance for their continued support of the show and they look forward to putting on a great show for all on Wednesday August 23rd.
