The annual charity swimming races in the River Suir are a fundraiser for South Tipperary Hospice Movement
The annual Barry McCarthy Memorial Charity Swims, in aid of South Tipperary Hospice, take place in the River Suir at Seán Healy Park in Carrick-on-Suir on Saturday, July 27 at noon.
The event, organised by Carrick-on-Suir Triathlon Club, includes 1,500m, 750m and 500m men’s and women’s races. The races are popular among athletes planning to compete in the upcoming Carrick-on-Suir Triathlon on August 11.
