EVENTS: Exciting arts festival celebrating St. Brigid to take place in Tipperary

The festival will have art exhibitions, musical experiences and creative workshops
The Nenagh Arts Centre is delighted to announce another year of Brigid Fest, a vibrant festival celebrating St. Brigid, which will run from the 30th of January to the 20th of February.
This festival symbolises the beginning of spring and honours Brigid, the Celtic goddess of crafts, learning, poetry and fertility. We aim to celebrate Brigid with a whole month of engaging activities.
This exciting event promises to be a feast for the senses, with a diverse programme of musical performance, craft workshops, visual art and poetry.
Nenagh Arts Centre will also launch the St. Brigid’s Celebrations with Súil an Droichead, a collaborative exhibition of paintings and poetry by twin siblings, Denis Kelly and Mary Pooley.
Award winning author and editor of The Haibun Journal, Sean O Connor, will launch the exhibition at 7pm on Thursday the 30th of January.
Admission is free.
