Gardaí investigating incident at Clonmel housing estate issue appeal for information

Gardaí arrested a man, aged in his 20, for public order offences when they were called to a Clonmel housing estate on Monday morning.

The arrest was made after gardaí went to the Bianconi Drive estate in Clonmel after receiving a report at approximately 11.30am on January 2 that two males were chasing another male through the estate on foot.

A post on the Tipperary Garda Division Facebook page stated that on arriving at the scene, gardaí conducted a search of the area and following enquiries a man, aged in his 20s, was located and arrested for public order offences.

"Gardaí are asking anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact them at Clonmel Garda Station on 052-6177640 or via the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111," the Facebook post added.
