The late Denis Ryan, Cahir and Cashel, who passed away on December 9
Late Denis M. Ryan R.I.P.
Captain of Cahir Park Golf Club 1981
Sincerest sympathy is extended by the Officers and members of Cahir Park Golf Club to the family of Denis Ryan who died on Saturday, 9th December.
Denis was Club Captain in 1981.
He was remembered this week with fondness by his Golfing friends and many stories were related of a quick witted, fun loving, larger than life character who loved the game of golf and who excelled on the golf course.
Although unable to play golf recently, Denis kept in touch with the Club and enjoyed many sunny afternoons sitting in the Inch Field watching play on the 11th Green and 12th tee box.
A gentleman who will not be forgotten,
May his soul rest in peace.
