The Mini-Molleran's Academy for juvenile players at Carrick-on-Suir’s St Molleran’s GAA Club concluded on October 2 after a very enjoyable summer.

The Carrickbeg club’s young players and coaches were delighted to be joined by Waterford Senior hurler Conor Prunty and St Molleran’s Under 16 Camogie team who recently won the Waterford Under 16 D Championship title.

Medals and goodie bags were presented to all the children at the event at St Molleran’s grounds at Coolnamuck, Carrick.

St Molleran’s GAA Club thanks all involved with its academy this season.

In other news, the Club commiserates with its Minor football team who were defeated by Ardmore in the county final in Kill on Sunday morning.

St Molleran’s GAA Club thanks its supporters who travelled to Kill to cheer on the team. And it thanks the players and team management for their efforts and commitment over the past few weeks.

Full time score: St Molleran’s 1-05, Ardmore 3-07.

FLAG DAY

Meanwhile, St Molleran’s GAA Club’s annual flag day takes place in Carrick-on-Suir this Friday and Saturday. The flag day is a vital fundraiser for the club’s juvenile section.
