'It isn't a dump and it looks unsightly,' Tipperary people urged to stop dumping at Clothes Pod

"Can people please not dump clothes beside the Clothes Pod in Newcastle (and elsewhere) when the bin is full," Cllr Máirín McGrath has asked.

"Please contact the number on the bin and come back with your clothes when the bin is empty.

"There is a backlog of collections since the Christmas period but pilling up bags of clothes at the side of them is not ideal, it isn’t a dump and it looks unsightly.

"There is often charity clothes collections too, Cahir GAA are doing a clothes collection at the end of the month. Keep your unwanted clothes and donate them to a community group raising funds!"
