The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of Ireland has submitted a planning application to Tipperary County Council

The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of Ireland has submitted a planning application to Tipperary County Council to change the use of a property in Borrisokane, county Tipperary.

The development concerns the former Bright Sparks Montessori, Rathmore, Borrisokane and proposes a change of use to a Community Bible Educational Facility.

The facility would be owned and directed by the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of Ireland, and used for meetings, workshops, and classes.

The application also includes minor changes to the external elevations, new building signage, and external lighting for health and safety purposes.

A rearranged site layout is proposed to provide accessible and general parking spaces, along with a new boundary treatment to the western side of the site.

A decision on the application is due from Tipperary County Council by August 6.
