LATEST: Gardaí seize car from unaccompanied learner driver in Thurles

Tipperary Roads Policing Unit have seized a vehicle from an unaccompanied learner driver in Thurles.

They said on social media that they were patrolling when they received an ANPR alert for no insurance.

They intercepted the vehicle and discovered the driver was an unaccompanied learner with no L-Plates.

The driver was driving on a terminated insurance policy.

Gardaí seized the car, and they said court would follow.
