The Board of Directors of Tipperary Excel Arts and Cultural Centre has confirmed that cinema screenings at the venue are to be suspended until the end of June.
A statement issued by the Board says that the suspension is in order to carry out essential upgrade work to key equipment at the centre, which is located in Tipperary Town.
Chairperson of the Board of Directors Elaine Fitzpatrick says that the work is necessary in order to guarantee a positive customer experience for patrons.
“Some equipment needs to be upgraded and the Board of Directors has taken the decision to carry out this work in the coming weeks. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily suspend cinema screenings until the end of this month. We are planning to implement some exciting plans in the near future and we look forward to meeting our loyal customers very soon.”
