Durlas Éile Eliogarty Memorial Committee has penned a letter to request funding from the North Tipperary Development Company.
The letter, written by William Ryan of the Durlas Éile Eliogarty Memorial Committee, requests funding for a community-led restoration and enhancement project at St Mary’s Memorial Garden.
The letter reads: “I am writing to respectfully request funding support from North Tipperary Development Company for a community-led restoration and enhancement project at St. Mary’s Memorial Garden, Thurles, as represented by the Durlas Éile Elogarty Memorial Garden. Committee.
“This site holds deep historical and cultural significance for the people of Thurles and the wider North Tipperary area.
