A local mother and son celebrated their landmark birthdays at a joint celebration last Saturday night.

Evelyn O’Meara from Rathcabbin was celebrating her 80th birthday and her son Ronan was turning 40.

Theyenjoyed a joint birthday celebration in the Lorrha GAA club function room on Saturday night last.
