Have you ever seen this?

An image has begun circulating online of a motorist allegedly watching a series on Netflix on their phone while stuck in traffic.

The picture was posted to the Tipp Town community page on Wednesday with the following statement: "I just wanted to flag something which shook me this morning on the way to work.

"I came behind this car in Oola and was behind it the whole way to Ballysimon.

"The picture is bad but if you look closely you can see that the driver is watching a series on Netflix. They watched this series the entire journey to Limerick this morning.

"There are no words really. None. And I'll just remind people of how thick the fog was this morning. I tried to grab their attention by flashing by lights but no heed paid.

"I drive to Limerick five mornings a week and this actually unnerved me. There was nobody in the passenger seat or the back.

"I think we all just need to take note that we are driving a weapon each day. We need to think before we kill someone's child, mother, father, friend...

"Is it any wonder there are so many fatalities happening in this country. Roads are busier. Weather gets worse each winter and now clowns are catching up on their box sets during the morning commute.

"I also know how contradictory I sound given how I had to take my phone out to take the picture, but it was while we were stopped and I most certainly was not watching a TV show."
