7. Brian McGrath Rating: 8/10 A man of the match performance from the youngest McGrath brother. He started the game as he meant to go on, scoring a beauty within the first twenty seconds and he won a battle with a tricky opponent in Ethan Twomey. If he can step up to this level on a consistent basis he could be a big player for Tipp this year.

8. Conor Stakelum Rating: 7/10 Again, he is quickly becoming an enforcer for Tipperary and is looking likely to be a starter come championship. He is putting in some serious shifts and he also gets involved in the play, setting up Sean Ryan for his first half goal while bagging a second half point. Probably the find of the Bonner reign.

9. Dan McCormack Rating: 7/10 As functional a partnership as Tipp have had so far this year, McCormack really complimented Stakelum well. Dropped deep so often to good effect and won several of the obligatory frees he is known for. Looked fresh and full of energy. Great to see.

10. Seamus Kennedy Rating: 7/10 Kennedy seems to be comfortable in his new role at wing forward and he had a decent game once again in Cork. Hit a lovely first half point on the run, while his energy up and down the field is boundless. We can expect more appearance here in the league for the Clonmel man
