New traffic calming measures in Boherlahan are welcomed

Traffic calming measures introduced in Boherlahan have been welcomed.

Cllr Declan Burgess, speaking at a meeting of Tipperary/Cahir/Cashel Municipal District, said he was happy with the work carried out in Boherlahan.

“The job in Boherlahan looks very good and I want to pay tribute to everybody who had an input into the work done at the location,” said Cllr Burgess.

Cllr Burgess said that a fantastic job had been done in Boherlahan.

The works, he said, had been badly-needed as there had been some concern about the traffic situation in the village.

SLOW DOWN

“The traffic calming works were very important and badly needed. Hopefully, now, they will slow down the traffic coming in and out of the village,” said Cllr Burgess.

The completion of the works in Boherlahan was also welcomed by other members of the council.
