Newly formed Tipperary Town choir is made up of parents and students
Well done!
The newly formed Ryan Academy of Music Choir held their first concert for family and friends recently at St Ailbe’s School, Tipperary Town, at their Awards Ceremony for the County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra.
This newly formed Tipperary Town choir is made up of parents and students of the Ryan Academy of Music and directed by Louise Arnold O’Mara.
Louise is one of Munster’s top sopranos. A professional singer and voice teacher who hails from Limerick City, she is now the voice teacher in the Ryan Academy of Music. Speaking about her appointment Louise expressed her delight at working with the students.
“I am delighted to work with Michael John and Siobhan here in Tipperary Town and with the Academy students for one to one voice lessons. I am also delighted that we have made this Choir free for all of their students, parents and any of their family members to join. We will rehearse as a group every Saturday at 3pm for an hour during the Academy’s Term and I was delighted to Direct them at their very first Concert, which was a great success. They sang a selection of well known pieces and were accompanied by the talented County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra,” said Louise.
The Ryan Academy of Music are holding a Fun Singing Children's Choir Summer Camp to which all are welcome, (singing all your Disney favourites) from July 3-7 from 5:30 to 6:30pm daily.
This fun singing camp for all children will be taught by Louise Arnold O’Mara. If interested please contact Siobhan on 062-51128 at Danny Ryan's Music Shop, Tipperary Town.
