People of Tipperary come out to support Family Carers awareness event
Step Up Walk in Clonmel receives great support
Family Carers Ireland Richie Molloy said he was delighted with the response to the first ever Step Up Walk for Family Carers which took place over the weekend in Clonmel and all over the country.
"Hundreds took part all over Ireland including here in Clonmel in Tipperary and I want to thank thank all who came along to Powerstown Park over the weekend and say a special thanks to members of the Civil Defence and Powerstown Racecourse for providing the venue," said Richie Molloy, manager of the Family Carers Ireland branch in Clonmel.
"The event will help raise money and awareness of the support offered by family carers across the county and nationally," said Richie Molloy.
Richie Molloy, Tipperary Carer Supports Manager for Family Carers Ireland, said that the 5k fundraising event is a chance for the people of Tipperary to show their support for family carers.
