2. Robert Doyle Doyle has more than held his own in his first year at this level. Abrasive, aggressive, and touch-tight, he has nailed down a starting spot and an area of real concern heading into 2025. The form is good, and the hope is that he can bring the league form forward to Sunday, and beyond.

3. Eoghan Connolly He had a testing league final on his namesake Alan Connolly, but the bulk of his work in the early stages of 2025 has been encouraging. In such a competitive area of the field, there are always going to be challenges in game and Connolly will hopefully continue to grow into the role.

4. Michael Breen One of the leaders of this young team now, there's no denying that Breen has led by example this term. His presence at the back will be vital for this Tipperary defence and his man-marking ability is a huge asset.

5. Sam O'Farrell O'Farrell operated at wing forward in the league final, and while he got into dangerous positions at times in the game, it is probably not where he can do his best work. He excels running from deep, and his ability to get up and down the pitch from deep is his best asset.
