PICTURE: Audiences charmed and beguiled by Cashel's Little Mermaid

More than two thousand people attended Cashel Community School’s recent production of ‘The Little Mermaid’.

This hugely accomplished production, which played for three nights had the audiences on their feet as they cheered and applauded a cast who delivered a stand-out performance night after night.

Directed by John Murray, the show, which demands the elusive combination of serious acting, singing and dancing talent delivered on every front.

As ever, the musical was truly a ‘CCS Production’ with performers from Junior and Senior cycle, TY students painting the massive sets and a back-stage crew of staff and students managing the synchronisation of props, scenery and performers.
