PICTURE: New children's book launched at the Tipperary Town Library

Tipperary Town Library hosted the launch of a new children’s picture book Count on Viking Friends by Leigh Dowling, on Friday, August 18 to coincide with National Heritage Week.

The author, who was in Viking costume, read stories from the book which was followed by a Viking themed Arts and Craft session.

Leigh Dowling is from Bansha and along with the book just launched he also has a book titled A Viking Boot for Dragon.

The children that attended really enjoyed the reading and the arts and crafts session and were very engaged throughout.
