PAWS Animal Rescue is based in Mullinahone in Tipperary and has rescued thousands of dogs since it was founded in 1977

This is Victor who was rescued as a stray by PAWS last September. He is a Lurcher and is an amazing dog with lots of love to give his forever person. Victor could live in a home on his own or with a dog his size as he is quite playful. He gets along with other dogs when being walked together. This beautiful boy loves his cuddle time but can get the zoomies around the garden. He is also brilliant when walking on the lead.

Rover has some separation anxiety when left alone as he likes to have people around. He is brilliant on the lead and will walk with other dogs. When he gets to know you his personality flourishes and you get to see the real Rover. He likes to play with his toys and have a cuddle on the couch.

This cute girl is Bonnie who has a big personality and plenty of love to give— once she gets to know you. She was listed on the PAWS website last June 2025. She is very wary of people, so she needs experienced, understanding owners who can take the time to build trust and help her feel safe and secure. Bonnie thrives best as the only dog in the home and is not suited to a household with children. While she can be a bit misleading at first, once that bond is formed, she’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. She loves her walks and enjoys zooming around the garden, making her a great match for someone with an active lifestyle and a secure outdoor space.

She has been at the rescue since she was a puppy, the rest of the litter were adopted and Stella was left behind.  She loves playing with her toys but also loves to sleep cuddling a blanket. This sweet girl would suit in a home with no young children and possibly a large male dog, however she would be just as happy on her own. Stella is an intelligent, athletic, and playful dog who adores her people and is fiercely loyal. Always happy to see you, she thrives on daily activities and mental stimulation.
