The inspector from the HSE stated that the closure order was issued as there is "likely to be a grave or immediate danger to public health at, in or on the said premises".
Noted in the inspectors report, the popular food businesses breached legislation relating to food hygiene, in that -
- Findings of rodent droppings on top of freezer and on shelf under hot hold unit containing foodstuffs, indicating failure to implement and maintain adequate pest control procedures.
- Multiple rodent droppings observed in close proximity to wrapping and packaging materials, exposing them to a risk of contamination.
The closure order was issued to Bodega @ Inspire on November 12, 2025, and was subsequently lifted on November 14, 2025.
