Planning has been lodged in Tipperary to rebuild a collapsed wall on the banks of the River Thonnoge.

Inland Fisheries Ireland has made the application to rebuild a 14.5 metre section of collapsed wall on the banks of the River Thonnoge and all ancillary and temporary works including the provision of temporary access ways.

The proposed works will take place within the curtilage of two protected structures, St Kieran's Church and Ballylooby Community Hall.

A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the planning authority with the application.

The development address is at Knockane, Ballylooby.

A decision is due by the council on February 3, 2024.
