RUGBY: Busy afternoon for Tipp teams in AIL action as season finale takes shape

It was a busy afternoon on the local rugby front with varied for the Tipperary teams.

In Division 2A, Nenagh Ormond were beaten by a strong Barnhall effort on a 26 to 10 scoreline.

Cashel left it late against UL Bohemian but a late try was enough to secure a win after a close game which finished 33 to 19.

That win though for Cashel wasn't enough for them to secure a play off position, as the westerners needed Nenagh Ormand to do them a favour by getting a result against Barnhall.

Meanwhile in Division 2C, Clonmel took on Omagh Academicals who were fighting relegation but had to give second best to the Tyrone side, losing out eventually on a scoreline of 36-19.
