The Cashel Friends of Europe held their annual fundraising Quiz night at Brosnan's Pub Cashel on Friday, May 3.

Topics ranged from the colours of EU flags to tests of GAA and Racing knowledge, questions about athletic animals and a picture round on Netflix series.

Funds raised will go to help young people attend EU Rural Charter events in the coming years with the next international meeting set for Hungary in early July.

Ciara Quinlan Chair of the Cashel Friends of Europe thanked everyone who attended for their support, Declan Burgess for setting the questions and the hard working committee who arranged the evening.

The winners of the table quiz were a clever foursome called "Fianna Fáil" who answered a tricky tie-break on what is the correct name for the animal called a sea cow?
