Lynsey had been a valued member of the Club's Juvenile Committee

It is with a heavy heart that Carrick Davins GAA Club extends condolences to the Hackett family on the death of Lynsey Hackett (née McManus).

Lynsey was a proud Dub, but took Carrick and the Davins GAA Club into her heart. She was a member of the juvenile committee and was ever-present at academy and blitz games, summer camps and matches.

She made the kids hot chocolate on cold training nights and personally funded training bags for the children.

Always smiling and happy, she was a breath of fresh air around the club. Her Dublin wit, kindness and generosity will be truly missed.

To Stephen, Rian, Senan, Shane and the McManus family, the club members are at a loss for the words to express our sympathy with you. Lynsey will forever be in the hearts and memories of Davins Club members.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

The club thanks the Treacy Park ladies for putting on a lovely spread for Lynsey’s funeral . Thanks also to Mikey Power and the Nano Nagle Centre for the tables and chairs they provided.

Please support Lynsey’s heartbroken family with their GoFundMe page. We would love to show Stephen, Shane, Senan and Rian the same kindness and generosity that Lynsey gave everyone who knew her.
