Gardaí apprehended the motorist in question early on Tuesday morning

In dangerous wet conditions today, Tipperary’s Roads Policing Units caught several motorists speeding, with one driver detected traveling 156km/h on the M7 running through the Premier County — despite the incessant heavy rain present across the county today.

Authorities are urging drivers to slow down and stay cautious. Wet roads and poor visibility make speeding even more dangerous.
