Special Mass for much-loved Tipperary Sacristan retiring after 40 years' dedicated service

After over forty years of dedicated service as Sacristan to St Nicholas’ Church, Nuala Perry has finally taken a well earned rest and retirement from her position.

To celebrate her remarkable commitment and dedication to her position and parish for over four decades a presentation was made and some celebratory refreshments were served in Monard Community Hall to mark the occasion on Saturday night last following 6.30pm mass.

Nuala was joined on the occasion by all her family members along with parishioners from Sologhead and Oola who were all warm in their praise for such a lovely lady who along with her late husband Jim have been part of the St Nicholas’ Church and Sologhead parish fabric for many years.
