STORM LATEST: Tipperary shop promises to be open on Sunday with 'bread, milk and eggs'

A Tipperary local shop has promised it will be open on Sunday despite the weather and will have "milk, eggs and bread".

In a post on social media, Kenny's Centra in Fethard said: "We will be open Sunday as normal and YES we will have milk, eggs and toilet roll.

"The deli staff will be in early ensuring we have fresh crusty rolls and bread.

"Please take a few minutes in the morning to check on any elderly neighbours living near you to see if they need anything to save them coming out in this cold spell of weather.

"Drive carefully folks!"
