Talented rugby player in Tipperary is off to France on scholarship

The recipient of this year’s Rugby Scholarship at Clonmel High School, in association with Clonmel Rugby Club’s Camida Youth Academy, is Fifth Year student Jakub Prazan.

Jakub plays on the High School and Clonmel Rugby Club Under 16 teams.

He was selected following an application and interview process.

He will spend ten days at a rugby camp in Soustons, near Biarritz in France this summer, where he will receive professional rugby coaching and an immersive cultural experience.

Jakub is the 18th recipient of the scholarship since it was first introduced in 2005.

It promises to be a fantastic experience and he is wished the very best of luck.
