6. Bryan O'Mara (Holycross Ballycahill) Sticks out a mile at this level as he was just imperious on Sunday in the win over a fancied Upperchurch Drombane team. He mopped up possession all day, starting attacks and has just become an ultra composed presence at centre back. The scary thing is, he still has a lot of room to improve.

7. Alan Flynn (Kiladangan) Kiladangan had an impressive win over Thurles Sarsfields and Flynn stood out particularly in an overall impressive performance from the North Tipp team. Has been utilised a lot at midfield with Joe Gallagher holding the fort at centre back, but Flynn popped up everywhere on Sunday. He played like a man possessed.

8. Noel McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) Enough words have been written about this man. Another faultless display, scoring 0-5 from play. Ridiculous consistency.

9. Robbie Quirke (Toomevara) Quirke is another man who excelled for Toomevara in their win over county champions Kilruane MacDonaghs on Friday night. He put in a massive shift all game and was an out ball on a consistent basis for the Toome defence. Hit a few poor shots late on, but by then the result wasn’t in doubt.
