2. Pat Molloy (Moycarkey Borris) A day Molloy won’t forget in a hurry as he hit an incredible tally of 0-6 from play from wing back! He caused huge issues for Kilruane and every one of those scores were vital in a game which went right down to the wire. He played well in 2023.

3. Andrew Ryan (Toomevara) Had a man of equal build - if not bigger - trot into him from the start of the game in Conor Dooley, but Ryan showed all his experience and brings huge assuredness to the Toomevara defence. Came up with some big possessions late on when Roscrea were piling on pressure and used the ball well.

5. Darren O'Connor (Roscrea) Despite being in the winter of his senior hurling career, O’Connor is finding a new lease of life as a free centre back in the heart of Roscrea’s defence, and he showed his qualities against Toomevara. Particularly in the first half, he was utilised to keep Darragh McCarthy’s supply dry and he caught at least four clean deliveries from his reading of the game.

6. Paddy Cadell (JK Brackens) It is incredible how Paddy Cadell has transformed JK Brackens’ fortunes. Since his return they have looked like a team reborn and he was brilliant in the win over Drom & Inch. He was all over the ball all game and brought a real composure to his team.
