1. Paddy McCormack (Thurles Sarsfields) There was no really impressive standout performance from a goalkeeper last weekend in any of the games, but Paddy McCormack caught the eye more than most in his side's impressive win over Loughmore Castleiney. He was helpless for Loughmore's goal but his general play was crisp, while his puck outs were very efficient and accurate. What a servant he continues to be for Sarsfields.

6. Niall O'Meara (Kilruane MacDonaghs) O'Meara's leadership early in this game lifted all of his teammates as he was dominant for big spells of the game in Dolla. When he is fully fit there aren't many better centre backs in the county and he looked back to full fitness on Sunday.

7. Joey McLoughney (Toomevara) Continues to churn out top performances for Toomevara, even at this stage of his hurling career. He was very impressive on Sunday and hit two wonderful scores during the game, while also using the ball brilliantly all game.

8. Danny Slattery (Clonoulty Rossmore) Slattery has been used as a utility man all year but his relocation to midfield on Saturday was a big reason that Clonoulty Rossmore will be hurling senior in 2024. He was a ball of energy all day and got on an amount of possession, also chipping in with 0-2 on the day.

9. Tadhg Gallagher (Kiladangan) Gallagher has been in top form for Kiladangan all year and he continued that rich vein of form last Sunday. He came up with some big scores at different times in the game and his pace was too much for the Toome midfield to handle at different stages of the game. Scored 0-3 in the game. A consistent scorer.
