6. Brian McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) When the game was in the melting pot in the final fifteen minutes as Loughmore were making a comeback, this man was highly influential and broke out of the defence on so many occasions to lift the mid men.

7. Tommy Maher (Loughmore Castleiney) Like Brian McGrath, Maher was also very good in the final quarter of the semi-final, and was a bundle of energy up and down the field, getting involved in attacks. Played well.

8. Diarmuid Foley (Moyle Rovers) The result wasn't in much doubt from fairly far out in this semi-final, but Foley was one of those in the sky blue who never threw in the towel and was a good conduit between attack and defence.

9. Diarmuid Grant (Upperchurch Drombane) Part of a very dominant midfield partnership that worked their socks off all game, Grant was constantly in the middle of possession and also fired over a brilliant second half point which proved vital.
