6. Niall O'Meara (Kilruane MacDonaghs) His performances in the latter stages of the championship were outstanding. After the loss of Craig Morgan in the Nenagh game in the group stages, he reverted to centre back where he was outstanding in the final and replayed final. His experience was vital.

7. Gavin Ryan (Upperchurch Drombane) What a year it was for Upperchurch Drombane, with this man the leading figure in their challenge. His ability to use the ball was brilliant all year, while his long range free taking was a big weapon for the mid club. A classy operator.

8. Tadhg Gallagher (Kiladangan) Easily the most consistent Kiladangan player all year, Gallagher stood out from the very first round, particularly in a year where his teammates never got to their best in the earlier rounds of the championship.

9. Sean McAdams (Kilruane MacDonaghs) What a combative figure McAdams was all year for MacDonaghs. His engine alongside Mark O'Neill was a big part of the success of the team, as he also came up with some big scores in the knockout games. A Duracell bunny in black and white!
