6. Brian McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) Often the lesser heralded of the McGrath brothers, Brian was one of the leading lights for Loughmore this year and has really stepped into a leadership role. He dominated his area in the semi-final and final of the county and always impressed in possession; of which he had a lot of throughout games.

6.
7. Ronan Maher (Thurles Sarsfields) Had a quiet semi-final by his standards, but he was incredible up to that point, dominating all the games in the group stages and essentially curtailing the entire Nenagh forward line with his intelligent positioning in the quarter-final.
7.
8. Kieran Cummins (Moycarkey Borris) The engine room of the Moycarkey Borris team this year, Cummins took his game to a new level in 2024. He clocked up ridiculous ground in all the games and his scoring prowess was impressive in midfield, scoring 0-9 in the championship. A rumoured call up to the Tipperary training panel is richly deserved.

9. Ciaran Connolly (Loughmore Castleiney) A man that Liam Cahill will be hoping can commit to the senior set-up in the coming years, Connolly proved his quality this year. His physicality and work rate was incredible for Loughmore, and given the injury woes he suffered recently have ended, he looks like a rejuvenated hurler.
