9.
10. Willie Cleary (Kilruane MacDonaghs) A man who real stepped up to the mark when the chips were down this year. His free taking was so important, proving to be laser accurate all year, particularly when the heat was on in big matches. He also made a big impression in general play and was a vital cog in the county final winning team.

11. Joe Gallagher (Kiladangan) Continues to show his quality, even in the autumn of a long and impressive club career. Gallagher more often than not comes up with the goods in big games for Kiladangan, and although he was subdued in the county final matches, he was incredible in the earlier knockout games. A class act.

12. Ciaran McCormack (Loughmore Castleiney) A somewhat dis-jointed year for Loughmore Castleiney due to injuries, one man who really came of age for the 2021 double winners was young Ciaran McCormack. He played well in every game, with his performance in defeat to Drom & Inch in the county quarter final showing his quality. Stood up as a leader in the forwards in the absence of John McGrath.
12.
13. Bryan McLoughney (Kiladangan) Kiladangan most consistent forward all year, McLoughney had a poor county final replay by the standards he had set, but he was the main source of scores from frees and play all year for the Kiladangan men. A good player.
