This Tipperary school got into the Christmas spirit with some wonderful events

TY Christmas Market

Well done to all of our TY students, who created and displayed fantastic enterprises during our annual Pres Christmas Fayre. There were many creative ideas on display and some very persuasive marketing techniques.

We were delighted to welcome the TY students from the CBS.

A huge thank you to the girls’ business and mini-company teachers, Ms Elaine Corbett, Ms Marie Flanagan and Ms Jennie Cunningham, for all of their support and guidance.

Thanks to Martin and to Ms Sinead Glascott for helping with the set-up of the market in our Sports Complex.

Festive Carols in AIB

Our Pres Trad group brought some Christmas cheer to members of the public last week, when they performed a trad and singing session in AIB Thurles on Christmas week.

Thanks to Ms Brid Wallace, Ms Sinead Ryan and Ms Edel Harding for participating with the girls. Thanks to Mr Patrick Conlan and to Nora Doherty for organising this.

Well done – we are very proud of our Trad group.

Dunchaoin’s Christmas Concert

We had a fabulous production of The Nativity last week.

Well done to our Dunchaoin students, TY students and to their teachers and SNAs – we are very proud of you all.

Contributed to School Days in the Tipperary Star by the Presentation Secondary School, Thurles.
