Liam Mac Carthy Cup on a visit to a Clonmel school
The pupils of Gaelscoil Chluain Meala rolled out the red carpet to welcome back one of their heroes.
Three-time All-Ireland winner Seamus Kennedy, accompanied by Tom Ryan, Development Officer, visited the school recently with the Liam MacCarthy Cup.
It was a special day for the school as they welcomed past pupil Seamus Kennedy.
Eoghan Breathnach, Principal, said it was a very special occasion for the pupils to welcome back one of their heroes.
“Seamus has inspired so many people with what he has achieved. It was wonderful to see Seamus speak to the pupils in their language. When their hero can speak to them as Gaeilge it has a huge impact,” he said.
