Thurles Crokes athletes perform well at the Nenagh Half Marathon and 10k

Thurles Crokes had 4 athletes who braved the wind and rain Sunday morning at the Nenagh Half Marathon and 10k which was  always going to be an eagerly contested race.

First up for the half marathon of about 300 runners were Martina Ryan and Deniece Tuohy who took off at 9.30am. Both women ran brilliantly and finished in very respectable times.

Joan Stakelum and Regina Dorney were next up in the 10k race and also ran very well in tough conditions. Well done to all 4 ladies.
