Thurles Farmers' Market is getting into the Festive spirit
The market runs from 9:00am on Saturday and is well worth a visit.
Please “Bring a Friend” for a cuppa and sweet bite of cake on Saturday.
This is our treat to say thanks to our regular customers – take a few minutes, sit and have a chat and head on with your Saturday. Available from 10am to 12.30pm – the market will begin as usual at 9am.
This week December 10th and again on December 17th we are joined by John and Marie Hartnett with some amazing Christmas wreaths and decorations. The O’Keefes will also be with us on both dates with hen/duck eggs and honey.
Our Christmas Event will be held on Saturday December 17th – we still have space for some food/craft stalls – please call 087 270 1689 if interested in a space. Stalls will be indoors but if someone needs to set up outdoors that can be accommodated.
Santa will be with us for children to meet on December 17th and he is hoping to bring a small gift for every child. Members of Thurles Order of Malta will be with us to add some seasonal musical flavour and we hope you can support them in return with a donation. Thanks to Tipperary County Council for supporting our Christmas event.
The Market continues every Saturday morning from 9am to 12.30pm and our final market before Christmas will be on Friday December 23rd.
You can do a large portion of your food shopping at the Market – contact us on social media or via telephone if you have special orders. From homemade mince pies to turkeys we can supply you. All your fruit and vegetable needs can be fulfilled by Michael.
Locally produced milk is also available – Clonismullen brand from Drom. Shopping Local supports your local economy and sustains local producers keeping the variety that we value in our food suppliers. Eggs from Magner’s Farm are also stocked – these pasture range hens live on a certified organic farm near Fethard. In addition we offer jams, juices and award winning condiments from Rívesci. The Nutty Knitters will be with us on December 17th – great range of items for sale or you can give them a custom order.
