Tipperary artist in residence to discuss her work at South Tipperary Arts Centre

Join Artistic Director Helena Tobin of South Tipperary Arts Centre in conversation in the gallery at STAC at 2pm on Saturday January 28 with Marlfield artist Annie Hogg.
Annie will discuss her experiences of being the 2022 Tipperary Artist in Residence, a annual project supported by Tipperary Arts Office, and the development of her work during this time, culminating in this new body of work - LOST - currently on display in the gallery at STAC.
Annie Hogg is a visual artist working with pigments foraged from all elements of the landscape, often charring found objects from the natural world as a votive action to create paint, ink and sculptures. Throughout her practice she utilise plants, soils and stones, shells and found bones. The materiality of these pigment sources is of great importance within the subsequent work.
